Anna Ferl

Anna-Katharina Ferl is a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford’s Center for International Security (CISAC) and the Stanford Existential Risks Initiative (SERI). She completed her PhD in political science at the University of Frankfurt, Germany, in 2024. Her research focuses on military applications of artificial intelligence and autonomy, international security and regulation. Her current book project analyses how knowledge production practices in arms control processes facilitate or impede the regulation of emerging security technologies.
